Reply Yes, around Sydney it’s been very hot but not where we live – our weather has been great! Hope those mudslides haven’t affected you Charles – they look horrific. Reply It’s raining here. It’s grey. I LOVE it! It’s above freezing!!! Woo hoo! And your picture and its poem — oh, yes, how lovely! I’ll take it! Reply yes, a bit of contrast in our weather systems at the moment! I took Michael for a driving lesson to the nearest beach (about 1/2 an hour drive away) and the water looked beautiful. Thanks Aletha and may your sun come out soon 😉 Reply Nom, nom. That’s lovely, and it making me hungry. Went for a swim in the sea yesterday. So refreshing in this heat. Reply certainly is 😀 It hasn’t heated up around here much – the sea (which is about 10 minutes as the crow flies) breezes moderate the temperature and it never seems to get above 35 degrees – nothing like what Sydney and Melbourne have been getting (may it’s the desert air).
