note: I used vodka with the cumquats to make the liqueur (or drunken cumquats) – will keep for about a year and make Chrissy presents in little bottles #glugglug

I make a very tasty cumquat pie…but think I like your idea better…do you just add volka?

‘Simmer first till soft in a little water, then sweeten to taste- don’t add sugar at the start or the skins will toughen. When the sugar has dissolved add an equal amount of alcohol; bottle, seal, keep in a cook dark place for up to a year. Leave at least 3 weeks before using.’recipe via Jackie French
