When I was there in Oz…those were amazing birds for me to watch and photograph…I was told by a local that they are quite common…but that does not distract from their beauty. 🙂

they are quite common Charles but yes, so wonderful – there were more at Woodgate where I used to live then where I live now – still around but they fly by quickly in large flocks and don’t stop for a feed
