Enjoyed seeing your photo especially since my visit to kangaroo island was cancelled due to high waves.

what! I used to live in Brisbane where they have a koala sanctuary called Lone Pine – lot’s of kangaroos there and some are very friendly and you can pet them – some are not so friendly and they are behind huge fences.

Alas, I elected to have a walking tour of Brisbane and trip along the river instead of going to the park…only had a just a half day there…so had to sacrifice a visit to the park…plus at that point I was certain going to go to Kangaroo Island…ah…the best plans of man… 🙂

Fascinating creatures. The smaller one is really cute with that, ‘What are you up to?’ expression.

they were both (mum and bub) checking me out and then finally had enough and the joey got in mum’s pouch and she bounded away

Cute! Joey looks fully large enough to do his own bounding, though!

you’d think – I reckon the mothers get a bit annoyed when the joeys hitch a lift even when they’re that big 🙂

… and originally the full set of pictures didn’t come up, so I missed the boarding and departure shots!
