that’s pretty amazing, i notice you said your dad had the album! Whoa! I’ll bet you heard it played
early on, too. in the afternoon, at home after school my dad would sometimes play his “take five” dave brubeck record and louis armstrong, my mom would play musicals, like Camelot and The Sound of Music and it had a special influence. i hear this now and it kind of takes me back to that time when things sounded new, this music sounds new to me, love it. i don’t think i really “heard” it properly before. thanx!

yeah tipota 🙂 when McPaulus first threw it up on gingatao I recognised the music from when I was a kid – Dad had a huge jazz collection and my Mum was big on opera and more general music (Tom Jones – hahaha) and it does influence you in a deep way.
