Just a bit of Haiku Schmaiku (as Squires used to say) in the Basho tradition πŸ˜‰

If you have a moment pop over to Benedicte’s blog (an artist from Canada) where she has been writing and drawing up a storm (every day). She has done a couple of froggy poems as well and I thought I would join in πŸ™‚

  1. a beauty this frog, looks like a ceramic!
Love your haiku schmaiku…I guess that squarks is a sort of a sound?
I went looking for the definition and found this
squark – a quark with an electric charge of -1/3 and a mass 988 times that of an electron and a strangeness of -1
and thought it would fit you, I like the stangeness of minus 1 πŸ˜‰
thank you very much for the link and your supporting comments through out this month of visual poetry.

    1. hahaha you learn something new everyday – I meant squork (like to squeal) so I have edited that πŸ˜‰ – can’t believe squark is a physics thing – haha πŸ™‚ I like the strangeness of minus 1 too! The frog is definitely real and it did make me squeal, as I got a bit of surprise that it was in the house.

      1. maybe I should have used the word ‘squeal’? (squorking is like a bird and squealing is like a pig – haha – I just don’t want to be associated with a pig πŸ˜‰ )

  2. Had to laugh…according to the urban dictionary squorks means “to be exceedingly dorky, and or silly beyond the levels of social acceptance.” I must admit I do like you frog pictures…not sure I would want that many about my home. πŸ™‚

    1. haha that’s very good bb – wish I had thought of that – I did put my gummie on once and their was a frog inside – gave me such a fright (I did write something about it at the time I recall) πŸ™‚
