In the news for the day, less than eminent psychologist Dr Gabrielle Crook has discovered the cure for depression
When faced with this 😦
prescribe one or more ducklings 😉
Note: Please consult with your own psychologist or doctor before following this advice from a Quack
nuddernote – top duckling is Zachary Quack 🙂 and haven’t got a name for the other two yet – bought them on the weekend – it’s working so far – hahaha (quack, quack).
Why did the duck cross the road?
He was looking for his Quack 😉

Okay…tell me that’s not your new house…wow what a photo.
haha no not my house – Bundaberg is a rural town and there’s a lot of livestock around – they were walking up the roads, swimming for miles, climbing into houses etc.,
Oh so cute! Needed that today. Xo
Glad to be of assistance ms Chicklitasaurus – chirp, chirp 🙂
This was always going to raise a smile, Gabrielle. NHS take note.
hahaha yes, I hope they soon decide to cover the cost of duckling purchases under national health insurance Martin 😉
I tried to like more than one!
No words, just want to hold them!
Aren’t they gorgeous Benedicte – and they are wonderful to hold (this is the first time I’ve been up close with a duckling – only seen them in the parks and ponds in the past) – their little waggy duck tails always get to me 🙂
Nothing like little animals to lift the spirit! Quack!
quack, quack – this is very true Aletha (as long as it’s not a little snake or a little spider 😉 )
We can find joy in so many places and from so many different things. Hawaii Psychologist
I agree Anthony 🙂
Love the ducklings Gabe!
I am blessed in the duckling department Graham 🙂
Thanks for the smile Dr Gabrielle. Cute animals always have a smoothing effect, unless they are in less than favorable situations. Give the ducks a cuddle from me.
Sorry Dr Gabrielle. My last post should read – soothing effect – not smoothing. 🐥🐥🐥
hahaha they both work (smoothing, soothing 😉 ) thanks Helen
I’m just quacking up, here. Of course, the duck that didn’t make it across the road wasn’t quack enough!
now you’re quacking me up colonialist 😉 quack, quack – enough of this quackery – we must move on to alpacas or goats!
Quackery 🙂 (that’s a cheep self-shot) often wins out over science when it comes to magical thinking – distraction, distraction, distraction. Maybe it’s time for me to gets some ducklings…
you should have some ducklings bb 🙂 I may be full of quackery but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, or so they say 🙂
