Bluebee the blogger and poet challenged her readers to compose a poem from search engine terms used to get to your blog.
An interesting and quite challenging challenge 😉
So here above is my ‘found’ poem. Each line is an actual string of search engine terms used by people who clicked on my blog.
It makes me a little sad that some parents may discover my blog through the googling of what are considered red flags for autism. Some might want to shoot the messenger and I can understand that totally.
I hope that some of the red flags are just red herrings. But if they are not, don’t despair – the earlier a child is diagnosed with autism the earlier that intervention can begin and the better the outcomes.

Your search engine terms are very polite (and clean) compared to mine. Haha. I want to write something now. It’s a great idea. I’ll try to keep myself nice (as my gran used to say) as I write it 😉
I really like this poem, Gabe. It shows great sensitivity and writerly skill. I agree with Bluebee in that you are obviously offering many people advice and hope re. autism. Good on you. Some of your images have really moved me. One of your best!

Loved this Gabe! I really need to make the time to write one of thee myself. I often look at the searches that have lead people to my site and have a giggle.
Some of them are really funny Graham – I get ‘scary mumma’ quite a bit – haha
very cool idea and very nicely done. i once had a story up with ‘boobs’ in its title – that would have made some lines for poem…
