u r so rite about shirley maclaine, she is super in so many ways, and shirley temple, was a bountifully gifted filmstar too – nice .

Shirl rules (your Shirl and Billy’s too.) I saw Billy Bragg at the Sydney Town Hall in the late ’80s. He was superb. I’ve never forgotten how he engaged the audience with just a guitar and that stupendous voice. I loved him then and love him still!

I am so jealous (of you and Graham – both having seen him live) – I would have loved to see him in his earlier years, especially – I need to get out more – hahaha
