Twelve years we’ve been married today,
flying by in a splendiferous way
we’ve had ups with the downs
we’ve had smiles with the frowns
but roller coaster rides are the best, so we say.
I am an Australian poet, writer, blogger, psychologist, wife, mother of two children, autism and environmental advocate, and mad animal lover
I love you Shirl

Aren’t you both so gorgeous in that photo? You make me smile because even though you’re all dressed up in your finery I can tell you’re both a couple of characters. You each have a cheeky glint in your eyes. Fantastic. Congratulations on 12 years. Love to you both!

Bwahahaha – you have a keen eye Selma – haha – how could anyone have a knickname like Shirl and not be some sort of character (he is a renowned practical joker and bit of a clown – I’ve never met another person like him 😉 ) thanks Selma and big hugs and love back at you.

ps. his long hair is tied back in the photo (almost looks like short hair) 😉

Love the Photo, who’s that beautful couple?? Congratulations to you both.
Ps we both met 12 years ago!!!

12 years – ha! Thanks Dawn & Robert (we are pretty spiffed up in that photo – Andy’s hair is looking a bit different – living at the beach has lightened it up a bit 😉 ) – I am no longer a bottle blonde – haha – but maybe I will again.

Congratulations and what an absolutely stunning picture! And what an elegant succinct and festive way of putting the joy into words! Give my good wishes to Shirl and the kiddies, to the fabulous Silkies also and to all the other critters, too. Am wishing you all much happiness.
