I definitely want to live in a cartoon world. I want to fly and have a cape and have a bag full of tricks. I also want to eat those burgers you used to see on The Archies and the crabby patties on Spongebob Squarepants; not to mention Marge Simpson’s pork chops. Methinks I need to watch more TV with actual people in it 😆
Hahaha – a cartoon getaway sound fantastic Graham – I’d have to be able to fly so Wonderwoman or Superman or someone else (lots of them can fly now I come to think about it) – would love to be able to spin the world backwards on its axis to rewind time – haha.
I like your new blog look, all this water…good!
I remember this cartoon poem,
and like it more.
I like the fact also that you choose poetry to speak about cartoons characters.
Note: the benefits of revisiting a poem you haven’t read for a while – this needs a little editing 🙂
I must agree…that would be lovely. 🙂
Haha – thanks slpmartin 🙂
Nice to live in a cartoon world! Or to remain an innocent child forever!
🙂

Bwahahahaha – yes, to cartoon burgers etc., I knew you would like a cartoon world Selma 😉
And I’ll be Foghorn Leghorn and eat my own drumstick, or Speed Racer and marry my pal Chim Chim. Yeah, we all need a cartoon getaway!

Thanks Benedicte 🙂 My theme is a beach theme, which is appropriate I think. A change is as good as a holiday.
