Ahh wonderful musical highlight, Gabrielle. What a voice! What a woman!
PS–what a great idea for the fast food for frogs post! LOL. I bet the little greenies ADORE you.
Whaaaaaaaaaat? How did I miss this one? Sheesh, I must be asleep in my blogging life. Hey wait a cotton pickin’ minute…NO La Vie En Rose? 😉 Merci Gabrielle, for this gift that kisses the ears. hugs
I still have all my Edith Piaf records. I loved her when I was a teenager. Recently I found out that one of them is worth a bit of money but I will never sell it. Edith will always hold a special place in my heart.
I used to love Edith Piaf’s music but when I was in my early 20s I waitressed in a French restaurant and all they played was Edith Piaf and Charles Aznavour – after 2 years of that…can’t say I’m much of a fan anymore 😦
Ah…what a perfect end of my day…one of my favorite songs of all time….thanks!
Same here slpmartin 🙂
A wonderful song, and such a beautiful voice! 🙂
She was an amazing performer 🙂

I am always surprise to see that she is internationally known.
Have you seen the film with Marion Cotillard, la vie en rose?
I’ve seen parts of it Benedicte – I remember Mum watching it (she was a big fan). I love Edif Piaf – have lots of her music.
Beautiful song and voice. Reminiscent of Marlene Dietrich…
Marlene Dietrich is another favourite of mine (I might put her up next 🙂 ) Thanks adeeyoyo.
