They are pretty harmless – not as bad as a casuary (a similar looking bird that can kill you with one kick). I suppose if they didn’t like you they could peck a great big hole out of you. But they love us here in Woodgate.

I can’t believe I spelt ‘casuary’ – it’s Cassowary. That must be drunk typing!

They’re the funniest looking things – up close their feathers are a real mess.
